Empowerment-Ed’s Empowering Classrooms are 1-day workshops designed with one purpose, to enhance classroom and school outcomes while promoting teacher wellbeing. We have a range of workshops available that teachers can choose to be a part of. Our point of differences are as follows:

  1. Every workshop has been designed by our Director Ben, and is delivered by Ben, utilising his vast experience in school settings, coupled with his consultancy work across a range of schools in Australia - it is pitched and delivered in an engaging and thoughtful way.

  2. Every workshop is solutions focused. Teachers will walk away with clear, tangible strategies they can imbed in their practice. Workshops are conducted with the ‘facilitator mindset’ - there are no lectures here, simply an environment where educators can discuss and learn what is best practice to enhance outcomes.

  3. Our workshops have an atmosphere of collaboration, inclusion and welcome. No matter your experience, position or personality, everyone will have an opportunity to share perspective and learn from one another (Ben included!)

On-site School Professional Development

The Snapshot

This professional development program has three hopes:

  1. Provide evidence-based solutions in managing behaviour and increase student engagement in classroom settings

  2. To empower teachers by providing effective, practical, easily incorporated teaching strategies

  3. To be realistic to the realities of the modern classroom

How we do this:

  • We provide engaging, collaborative, active workshops that participants can truly immerse in

  • We ask questions and invite collaboration to ensure ‘school context’ is at the forefront of discussion

  • We work through real-life scenarios to engage critical thinking

  • We ensure participants are walking away with clear ‘take-home’ strategies they can embed into their own setting
